Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director

About

I’m a design professional with varied experience. Throughout my 10+ years in the design industry, I’ve worked both in-house and in studio settings.

I’ve branded and produced trade show graphics for events with thousands of attendees, helped many non-profits hit their fundraising goals, played key roles in my employers’ gain of market share and have helped them build substantial brand equity.

Design Philosophy

Styles come and go. Good design is a language, not a style.

Senior Designer

Landscape Management Network

08/2021 – Present

As the senior designer on the marketing team, my role entails supporting the marketing team’s projects and campaigns through visual design. My goal at all times is to produce the highest quality work possible in order to achieve our logo (customer) target numbers, nurture our evolving brand, and gain market share for our brands. I work on both LMN and Greenius brands to ensure the work we put out is on brand and of the highest level. Over the past 2 years, I’ve designed a great deal of the collateral for on-site exhibitions, social media, lead generating ebooks, sales presentations, our websites, paid ads, email, and many more touch points. I take pride in knowing when to enforce our brand guidelines and am entrusted with freedom to push our branding in order to elevate it.

Diego has a beautiful design aesthetic. He takes complex information and forms it into something legible, interesting and comprehensive.

2017

Senior Designer

C5 GROUP – (CI, ACI, C5)

06/2017 – 02/2019

As the senior designer on the team, I was responsible for ensuring collateral produced is on brand, fulfills internal client expectations, and is designed and executed to a high level. This included my own projects which I oversaw from beginning to end, but also those of the more junior designers. My responsibilities included reviewing their work and supporting them in maintaining and delivering high quality designs. I had the opportunity to coach and mentor the junior designers to develop strong working relationships with internal teams and vendors/suppliers. I lead by creative example as well as attention to detail and process.

2013

Graphic Designer

C5 GROUP – (CI, ACI, C5)

01/2013 – 03/2016

I was a part of the studio team which created various marketing materials for an international company hosting conferences ranging from renewable energies to various types of law. During that time, I produced an average of 65–70 brochures per year between the 3 companies our team serviced. At C5 Group, I assumed ownership of my conference projects. That entailed creating the brochures, pre-registration brochures, newspaper ads, web banners for partner sites, on-site signage and any other collateral that would help sell the conference. I was heavily involved in the roll-out of our new branding starting in 2015. My main contributions were the redesign of our registration pages for the brochures for all 3 companies, creating the new footers for our newly templated brochures, and creating the style sheets that would eventually be considered ideal by our in-house conference producers and marketers.

He has an eye for detail, communicates very well and gives thoughtful and progressive creative options, all while capturing the essence and theme him and his team agreed upon.
